Erin Håkansson started designing jewelry for her wedding several years ago and the response from friends and family was overwhelming. They liked the simplicity and how the designs accessorized their modern stylish look. The interest grew, so she started to design for several boutiques in San Francisco and across the US.

Her designs are influenced by how women dress and what they wear from across the world. She likes jewelry that brings out the local flavors, colors and textures and that harmonizes well with the latest global fashion trends. Most of her ideas come from her travels across the world, most lately from South America and Europe.
Next stop is sub-saharan Africa.

When she is not designing jewelry, she is working on her advisory business where she helps companies with mergers and acquisitions as well as strategic partnerships. She most recently worked in the corporate development/M&A team for Condé Nast's interactive division, which includes Style, Epicurious, Concierge and Wired. Prior to that, she led the business development efforts for Travelocity's newly-formed division of experience-based activities and added thousands of new products to the site.
